Adam Welc currently works at Huawei America Research Center as Principal Architect. Previously, he worked at Oracle Labs, focusing on FastR - an experimental alternative implementation of the R language. Adam has also worked as a researcher at Intel and Adobe, developing novel approaches for concurrent programming. His research interests are in the area of programming languages implementation and design, with specific interests in concurrency control as well as runtime systems, interpreters and compilers. Adam holds a PhD in Computer Science from Purdue University.
